Moose, Bird, and Deer Hunting

in the famous Allagash Lakes Region of Maine

We offer some of the best hunting in the Northeast for moose and ruffed grouse. Our camps are in Zone 5 with access to Zones 4, 1, and 2. You are welcome to hunt on your own, or we can recommend and coordinate a local Registered Maine Guide.

Being nearly 60 miles behind the North Maine Woods gate, hunters feel as if they have the woods to themselves without the traffic or pressure from day hunters.

  • Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock Hunting

Ruffed grouse hunting is world class. Whether on foot, with a dog, or taking a leisurely drive on the vast network of roads, it is common for clients to see 20 birds or more. It is not unheard of for clients to see 50 or more in a single day of driving.

  • Moose Hunting

Moose hunting is by lottery and a permit is required. The services of a Master Maine Guide are available and hunts are custom built based on the interest and abilities of the hunter.

  • Deer Hunting

Deer hunting quality has diminished since the devastating winters of 2009 and 2010. Our herd in the area had very high mortality due to the incredibly harsh cold and snow. Recent winters have been milder and we are seeing a nice rebound in the size of the population and also the sightings. Several bucks were harvested last year. Come and enjoy the challenge of Big Woods Hunting for Whitetail Deer in the Allagash Lakes Region.
